With over half a million dollars in prize money up for grabs, the world's best dirt track drivers will sling the clay at "Ohio's Finest Racing" speedplant - Attica Raceway Park - during its 23rd season of racing in 2010.
Besides the exciting weekly Friday night competition of 410 sprints, Fultz Fabrications & Speed Shop UMP DIRTcar late models, Fremont Fence 305 sprints and the occasional door banging action of the Computer Man Inc. Dirt Trucks, ARP will play host to several "special" events in 2010 that will draw race teams from all over the world.
"Every week looks like a special event in 2010, bringing in most of the top touring groups. Then, when you throw in the second season of the Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. (Fremont/Attica Sprint Title) Championship Series....the fans will certainly get their money's worth in 2010," said ARP Promoter John Bores.
The World of Outlaw Sprint Cars and World of Outlaw Late Models will once again try to tame the high banks of ARP. The sprint cars will visit Attica for the Kistler Engines Classic on Friday, May 21, as they vie for $10,000 to win. The World of Outlaw Late Models will also vie for $10,000 on Ohio Cat Night, Friday, July 31, with the winged 410 sprints also competing that night for $3,000 to win.
